That vacation is kind of expensive
$5800 is quite a lot for a rental car for 3 days and a ticket to Nurnbergring and a driving education session.
The ticket to the 'Ring is DM22 ($11) per lap. Take however long you want. I rented a 4Motion Golf and an Alfa 156 for 8 days at $1500 for the entire time for both of those cars, and I stayed at a really nice hotel at the Englischer Garten in Munich for another $1000 for the 9 days.

Rented a Mercedes A-Class for 50 days, cost USD$830
Unlimited mileage, thankfully, for I placed 20,000 km on that little baby and got it up to 200 km/h. You should have seen the faces on the guys from the Bundeswehr when I flew by ... hee hee ...<p>Baiano
