Wait about 5 yeas and that "bargin" Vette will be crap!
Not only will it rattle to pieces but the book value will fall off the face of the planet. I can never bring my self to purchasing any car built by UAW folks. Imports only. Plus I can put my kids in the back seat of my S4 and drive them to school. Can't do that in a Vette. I have had a ton of GM "hot rods" from the Buick Grand National, to Callaway Vettes, to Cadillac STS's - they were all real nice for about 30,00o miles then they started to fall apart right under my feet. Plus the dealer would look at me like a criminal when I suggested that cars should not fall apart at 30,000 miles and the GM should be responsible for their products. I have owned a Turbo Saab and my current S4 - the dealers treat you like royalty and I have never ever paid for service! Try that at your local GM dealer.

Questions for you Nnawed01S4MI
How do you like the Borla exhaust? I was down to that one and the VelociMax system when choosing an exhaust system. I chose the VelociMax for the duel exhaust it runs from the turbos on back. Also, do you have a local shop that did your mods or did you do them yourself? I did all of the work myself, so far, but might want to use a shop if I go for larger mods. Thanks.

Plus bimmers are not even true german anymore...they are made in the U.S.
they have a over priced tag, cheesy interior, they look like honda accords plus the "Ultimate Driving Machine" cant even win the Ultimate race, The Le Mans and cant beat the S4's, so much to putting the advancments from the track on the street. Next?

Sure a 400 hp car from the dealer's floor is nice but.......
It still is a GM product. If all you want is power then one can purchase a 94 Supra and blow it out for less bucks. You can buy a Cobra kit car and smoke the Vette. Power is nice but if the car starts to fall apart after 30,000 miles then it does not matter how fast it is.

It's a sports car not a civic...
You buy the Z06 for the speed and handling, not the reliability. As for the resale the Z06 is very strong. Not that I would want to do this but if you keep a Z06 for 30 years in good shape the car will be worth a mint.
And I would put too much faith in you TT for long term.
