Got my 3.0 back after only 4 days in shop of supposed hydro-lock

The car is back, i was shocked myself when monday afternoon they calledd to have me come pick it up. so.. i rush to dealer, get there and find out the news. They changed the coil packs cause 4 failed plus a few valves... wait.. i thought myy car was on brink of being dead? The guy said that the water that got in dried out and there wasnt much damage due to the care i took in "not driving her".. wait wtf.. i drove her a lot afterwards, i thought i made a stupid mistake.. according to you guys at least. Okay so.. i say thanks, get back in the car, and wtf, wait!, SOUND TICKING SOUND! i ask the service guy why its still "ticking" with the revs. He said it was fine and that over time it'd just go away. Performance wise, the car is perfect, its most likely the fastest its ever been, the only thing wrong is that it STILL TICKS, very loudly, my car sounds like ****, but runs great.. wtf?! For some weird reason, i checked and found out the service guys never changed oil, maybe i should? what *IF* water got in the oil?... hmm.. i guess ill just change it myself, i still gotta say, im impressed with dch audi service, they got myy car back SOO fast, even for just coilpacks and valves being changed. okay.. theres the update.

the only "tick" that can go away is the valve lifters - but it goes away very quickly (within minutes)
