Just like it's "normal" for people to miss a few payments on their car note - but I bet they

wouldn't accept that as an excuse and you shouldn't either. If it didn't make that noise in the showroom when the car was new; it's abnormal and should be taken care of under warranty. "That's normal" and "they all do that" are sure signs that you're being lied to by the dealer. Trust your gut - YOU know if the noise should be there or not. It's sad when one has to try and blow up their engine in order to get the dealer to fix it properly...
