all i wanted was the XR program in addition to my stock 93 pump file...and thats it. no valet, no stock, no kill modes were of interest to me.
i contacted AWE, and i sent them my ecu. they flashed in the xr program (again with my stock pump file already there). so i have 2 flahsed programs on my ecu & can switch between them with the VAG.

Before the U-Select files that just came out a few months ago, the XR file was not available separately. You had to purchase it with the Low Boost, Valet, and Kill package. Price for the entire 4 program add on package was $595.
Now that the U-Select files are available, the XR can be added by itself for an additional $345 if the ECU already is flashed with our RSK04 files.
There is no conspiricy here.

Even on APR + VM1 I would hang door to door with C55s. Braking, however, no contest. The C55 I ran with was up to about 120, we came to the top of a hill and a cop had someone pulled over. Thankfully he was inside his car, no radar, looking at the ticket book from what I could tell. That C55 clamped down and DISAPPEARED backwards. That was fun.
