Got a question for you VAG guru's... re: Engine fault code.
Hi folks. I recently bought a used S4 which had two engine fault codes registered about random misfires in cylinder 4. I took the car to the dealer stating "Intermittant check engine lights" and they stated that the spark plug in cyl 4 was cracked and replaced it. I checked to see that they cleared the codes before I left the dealer.
Today I checked the codes and they are back:
16684 (P0300) Random Misfire Detected
16688 (P0304) Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
Any ideas?
