Default Got some interesting DTC codes - and a dead car.

16490 - Manifold / Barometric Pressure Sensor (G71) / (F96): Implausible Signal
P0106 - 35-00 - -
17530 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B2 S2: Open Circuit
P1122 - 35-00 - -
17526 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S2: Open Circuit
P1118 - 35-00 - -
16621 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too Low
P0237 - 35-00 - -
16725 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Implausible Signal
P0341 - 35-00 - -
17800 - Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 2 (G163): Open Short to Plus
P1392 - 35-00 - -

I know the two O2 sensors are the rears, so ignore that.

Long story short, after a hard pull in 3rd gear (3200 to 7000) I shifted into 4th and was just cruising. I attempted to give the car gas, and nothing happened.

Pulled over to the side of the road, and the car will idle, but no response from the gas pedal.

EPC, traction control, and ABS lights are on.

Cleared the codes with the car running, and it makes the car shut off??

Now the car will not start, just cranks over and over so the ECU is removed and replaced - car starts?

As soon as I go to give it gas (and it responds to the pedal) the car starts to idle strange, at 1100 or so and no gas pedal response.

All lights are on again, EPC, traction control, ABS, etc.

Eventually get the car to limp home and start messing around to try to figure it out.

The car seems to do something different every time, sometimes it idles at 800, sometimes it idles at 1200, once even at 2000.

While driving home the gas pedal started to work, it was running OK (enough to get home) but as soon as the engine saw load it started to break up.

I checked all sensors and connections, even tried a new MAF and still got codes.

Just wondering what you guys make of this. The car was running fine for 20-30 minutes prior to the 3rd gear pull.

If I clear the codes it only comes back once I start the car, the MAF codes are always there?

Default I would check for a melted harness somewhere...

If they are all good, the MAP sensor disconnected? Bad cam position sensor?

Default 2nd on the wiring harness. it seems unlikely that all of these things would fail simultaneously.

any other relevant info you can think of? was it raining? any recent work done?

Default Not raining, I was messing around with connections around the

fuel rail area, N75 was disconnected, a few other things. I am sure they are all hooked up correctly though. I only unplugged two harnesses.

I think if something was faulty from me touching the car, it would have had a problem on start up and while driving for 20 minutes.

The failure happened right after a full WOT pull in 3rd.

Although I did get on it a few times before that.

Default haha more like a CASE! I have the car at my friends shop now - if he can't fix it..

I doubt it can be fixed He's an *amazing* mechanic..

I just hope it isn't anything mechanical, and it's something stupid like a melted or grounded out wire.
