how far do you have to drill to get the tabs to let go of the amber piece!!?

housing. on the second, i drilled about halfway, and then pryed it out w/ a screwdriver.

man this amber piece is not easy to take out! damn! i am glad you replied, i thought i was not doing it right...

any other advice u can give me?

stuff the hell out of the otherside of the lense (with the highbeam) so no little particles can get there... you can still break the amber reflector with a bunch of paper towels crammed in there.. it makes cleaning up the inside much easier.

I drilled almost thgough on one and left a scratch also...but the flip side is this if you drill too far you will leave a visible hole...
