I picked it up last summer at Newegg.com for $599. Maps seem to be as accurate as the ones you find on mapquest or google.
There are some minor glitches. For example, with some voice commands if it were to tell you to take a certain route and exit, on rare occasions it will not tell you to exit North/South, East/West, it will simply say 'exit ahead.' However it is indicated on the 3D map so you have to keep an eye on it while driving. If you miss an exit, it will re-compute or tell you to turn around.
Once you plug in your destination, it will compute your time of arrival which is also dependent on speed and traffic.
The TomTom will tell you how fast you are going in real time, but it will not give you information on how fast to go to arrive at a certain time. It also has POI (point of interest - gas stations, hotels, beaches, parks, food, parking garages, etc...) which you can include on your route.
I recently changed my opening/closing splash screen to make it more custom too.

It's mostly used in her car since she often drives different places for work and she keeps her contact information there too, but we've used it successfully in the S4 as well. One awesome thing about the iQue (among others) is that the antenna is built-in so it is infinitely more portable than most other untis. And the only downside I can think of is that the battery life is not great so it would not be the first choice for long hiking treks or anything like that where you're away from the cradle for hours and hours at a time.
Anyway, I highly recommend it, if that's the type of device you're looking for. There are definitely better dedicated GPS units of course if you're willing to permanently mount them in the car, etc. Just depends on your needs/wants.
Good luck.

I run an Axim X50v PPC with a Bluetooth GPS mouse, TomTom software. Everything is wireless (PPC and GPS both have batteries), so I can run it outside of the car as well. It also doubles as a MP3 /media player. I spent around $500 for everything including the 1gig SD card. Not the most user friendly interface, but definitely manageable once you get used to it.
