Great idea for those of you who have to have a front license plate: paint it on or make one out of

I saw a 996tt at Rusnak with....
the California and numbers on his front bumper w/o the actual plate. It looked like it was vinyl and from afar..looked like the real think w/o the plate on the bumper

Luckily my state doesn't require, but I think this is a great idea. How could a cop complain if you
went to all the trouble to do a good job. Your tags are not of the front plate so it sounds like a reasonable solution to me.
But then again, a cop can kill you the side of the road and get away with it, so I guess they can complain about anything they want.

Problem is most front facias are urethane plastic nowadays. Unless there was a substructure, would
not be magnetic. Too bad because I smelled a business opportunity there for a second.
