those jets take off around 160 or 180 or so (I think) and it passed the bike before it took off. if that bike was pusing hard the whole way he would reach about 140ish after 1/4 mile, so id guess he was going close to that speed when the jet passed him (maybe 120?)

then the jet took off a little farther on.

thats my guess. cool video. there is a vid of a cart car racing a jet somewhere online as well, and the car DESTROYS the jet in the sprint.
