Default Is the green coolant temp sensor supposed to be superior? Was the stock sensor supposed to be black?

I replaced my old sensor today and found that it was green, but there was no part # on it that I recognized. I have a 1/00 build date and the sensor has never been replaced before according to my records.

The replacement I got was also green, part # 059919501A.

Default blue is the color of the afterrun sensor. all you did

was trade a stock sensor for a stock sensor. unless you were going for the afterrun, i would not be worried.

Default Where the heck did you find the sensor! I've been looking, but have been too stupid to find it!

I removed the accordian housing, but i still don't see it! driving me crazy!

How long did the whole procedure take you?

Default 5min and 10 if you are really slow. if you unscrew the

coolant resivor you can see the sensor. pull the c clamp off and remove plug. new plug goes in repeat and rinse.
