Default GT turbo questions

I wanted to know if I was to go an custom build a gt turbo s4 were would be a good place to buy the turbos (gt2860) the thing is there are so many variations. On the garrett catalog there are 3 different gt2860r and 2 different gt2860rs. also what is the difference between the r and rs???

And why not skip the hole manifold and downpipe fab/change and just bolt up the ATP eliminator turbos???

ATP has shown no results yet but our built GTs have.

Feel free to contact us.

By simply searching the forums.

We use ASP GT kits in our high HP kits with our build engines.

Our WMS/ASP kit is $10,900 and can be seen on our website and ASP's as well.

We have shown pics and posted data from our projects.

but there are a few 500+WHP s4's running rs6 turbos on stock manifolds. So are aftermarket manifolds really needed?

what if the atp bolt on eliminator turbos go to 600WHP...

I know the factory manifolds are to small and don't use collectors but maybe they might get the job done even at high HP levels

Spending that much money on power it makes no sense not to do manifold to get the most out of the cash you are laying down. You would choke off large turbos with stock manifolds and too much lag and not the full power you are paying for.

You will need custom tuning with those turbos and there is no one better at it than Mike at WMS. So, if you are serious about this, then contact him directly and he will answer all your questions. Because if you are going to do this, you want to do it right the first time. If not, it will easily take you 3 months or so tweaking it on your own and eventually selling the car due to frustration from trying to make the car work. Trust me, I have been around here long enough to see this happen many, many times.

Good luck.
