They both do different things very well. We like them both, and sell allot of them.
I like the ride quality and control of the Ultra's. Yet, there is something to be said about the adjustability of the PSS9's.
On our Avant we use the Ultra's. For a Stg3 car you need that type of extra rate and dampening or the car will over power the suspension. (If you have driven a Stg3 car with stock suspension, you will know what I am talking about.)
If I had PSS9's on the car, we would need full stiff at all times.
Therefore, I guess I would lean to the Ultras.
I have ridden in cars with some of our competitiors kits. The one thing I notice that jumps out at me is the rear is either over damped or the rate is too much for a street car. It just feels too twitchy. Almost like it would be a handful in an emergency lift throttle situation.
I do not get this feeling with the Ultras or the PSS9's.
This is just my opinion, but I hope this helps with your decision.

I also have front and rear swaybars and its a very predictable car. May not be the stiffest out there for hard core track people. If you are buying for the street then I doubt you would be dissapointed in the slightest. We do mountain runs somewhat often and I am very happy with them. Great all around, even though they are not adjustable (other than ride height), I cant say I ever would have really wanted to change them much.

What are your front/rear settings on your PSS9s? Any other pros/cons you want to mention?
I have an 01 like yours and am thinking of buying the PSS9s for my ride (currently running H&R springs & Bilstein sport dampers).
