It's about you consistently asking others for help and info and then trying to pass it off as your own.
The fact that you're posting it in the B5 S4 forum is a joke. There is no OEM momentary switch available for the B5 S4. Their switches are simple on-off locking switches. Not to mention, it is possible that their switches use different pin-outs to control different functions. Your instructions might be a great guide to short out a radar detector if the 12v pin is in a different location on the B5 S4 locking switch.
This is not the first nor will it be the last time that your "writeups" will contain multiple forms of misinformation. Heck, your last writeup on how to install the engine mount was a great demonstration of the wrong way to install it ;-)

+ I really don't think anyone is interested in your politics. please.
I have questions, and that is why I'm asking here. This board has a lot more informative people than any other.
I never got a lead on how to find the switch from you. Just the idea. I never got info on wiring from you. You're the only one I know that has the OEM switch. But you won't help with info.
So I was left to figure it out on my own, using Lee's notes and the search button.
Curious why you never posted a DIY on this?

If you plug one end into the main unit, certain colors correspond to certain functions.
If you reverse the cable, plugging in the other end of the cable, the colors reverse. Always measure with VOM and double-check which is power and which is ground.
