Default Well, I'm assuming it's more of a gradual process..

I don't believe it "hit's a wall", for the reasons you've mentioned. Yea, the AWE data does make that seem questionable, I'd love to take some readings on them to better determine what's going on.

Default Cool! I agree with you, Dave...

The RS4's could be fine, they do have 15 charge rows and nice endtanks to best utilize them all... BUT I'd like to see what's going on.

Default Cool, that'd be great Dave.

We could definitely use some direct data on this that may help explain some observations.

This discussion can resume with some real data on the table.

Think you've got stock S4 and RS4 confused there Mike.

Default I reeeaaaly wish AWE would have shown the data above 6300 RPMs on theirs vs the RS4s....

may paint an entirely different picture re the two. Everyone cares about flow/losses up top right?

Default If I told you that car runs MBC in place of N75, would that explain it for you?

Mike2ks4 claimed midget's car tapered a lot more at high boost than another MBC only car with AWE SMICs and that was his reason for concluding that RS4 SMICs had a pressure loss problem. However, it looks as though he's wrong.
