Default Has anyone driven on Pirelli's P-Zero Nero M&S?

I'm thinking of getting new sneakers when I get my 18x8 rims (backordered & waiting for Customs to clear). TireRack gave them a best pick on there test results. Now what size should I run 225's or 235's /40/18??? To rub or not to rub?

Default I love mine. Very quiet. Nice ride. Good grip levels. Good in rain and dry. Seem to be durable.

As a street tire, i give them an A.

Default It is a good tire, runs on the narrow side so get the 235's......

My wife has them on her Jag, they handle well and give a comfortable ride. They are also very quiet, she has 22k on them and they show little signs of wearing.

Default I guess I will be the one dissenting voice. I have a set with about 3000 miles sitting in the garage

I did not like them they were very unpredictable and surface sensitive. Granted I had S03's previously and they were incredible. The Neros were decent in the snow however.

Default You liked the s03s? Their wet handling is phenominal but they have the harshest sidewalls

around, they tramline, and they wear out quickly. To each their own i guess

Default They did tramline. The harsh side walls protected my rims on NYC streets. Now I have KDWv2 and

they have a better ride, not the ultimate grip of S03's, and don't rub because the come in 235/35-18.

Default I'll say it again...

I do not like Pirelli tires. I've had Rossos and Neros. The Rossos were nice, but they got loud after about 10,000 miles, and did not wear well. The Neros were quieter, but they did strange things at the sheer points.

I run BFG KDW-2 rubber on the Avant and also my Syclone now, and will probably put a set aboard the 993 when it's time for that, too. This is a tire that really doesn't get the respect it deserves. It is EXCELLENT in the dry, and pretty nice in the wet, to boot.

Default I don't have that problem, Dealer installed Conti Touring on the S4 before purchase (they SUCK)!

So anything "better" would be an improvement. Yes I loved my S03 too (on a Volvo T5 S60), but I only got 10k out of them.
