Default um, you mean...

like this?

Apparently, service painted the ECU cover screws after multiple visits to diagnose a sporadic CE light. They suspected that the customer chipped the car.

Any problems leaving out the back PITA screw on the ECU box? (other than the dealer going nuts)

Default Oh man, that's terrible...by the way...Zev showed me one of your wheels, OMG they are SWEET!!..

I couldn't believe how light they were, something like 18-19lbs for the 18's. The wheel was wider than my tire! I can't wait to see your set up. I still don't know what's wrong with my baby. Zev's computer died while we were doing the VAG-com. We did see several codes, some were misfires. I'm going to try again today and get to the bottom of this. I wonder if I got a bad tank of gas?

You don't need to remove that screw to open the box.

Default dude, I was wonderin' what happened...

you're still welcome to use my VAG...just lemme know ahead of time so I can lug the bricktop (my NEC laptop). Dont know if misfires alone causes it to shutdown. Gotta see the actual DTC's to get concrete info. Good luck bro!

Default How is that unreasonable? While you are under warranty, you have no reason to be removing it...

To do anything that isn't potentially warranty-voiding. If you got your turbos replaced, and they suspect you may have been chipped, they stepped way out on a limb, because Audi can always stick them with the cost of the repair when they do a warranty audit. They are covering their *** -- if it happens again, and the paint is broken, they won't cover it, because they know perfectly well Audi will make *them* pay for it.
