Has anyone even attempted either straight k16s or k24s on our cars?

Default I did pure K16s 6 years ago but could not get it tuned......

No one was doing custom tuning back then.

Default Youre not understanding...

GTs fit because the exhaust manifolds are redesigned. K24s wont fit if you want to use them on the stock manis. If you dont want to use stock manis, like Nye said, go with a cheaper bigger turbo.

was this on stock manis? If so, how much modification was required to the car and/or subframe?

Everything was custom, had to modify the subframe as well.

Default Wasnt planning on using stock manifolds. you guys are sayin the cheaper way but i can get a deal on

k16s, k24s or straight rs6 turbos. install and modding a little bit isnt a problem have all the resources. Then tuning is the only other thing. So in reality im doing somethin alot cheaper then GTs and still making good power. Ive looked into this with a couple friends that have done tons of jobs like this on other cars. So im not going into it completely blind. Just needing some feedback from people who have first hand knowledge on this setup.
