I tried it last week and i filled it up almost full since it was almost $4 buck a pop...
however, the gas mileage was considerably better on highway mileage!! Can someone explain the reason???
I would think higher octane would burn fuel faster thus it would consumer fuel at a much faster rate.
May be im just imagining things, but i would want to know if someone had tried this??
i havent sat down to figure out the mileage vs money cost to see if the 4 bucks its worth but it certainly felt like i drove it much longer than usual w/o having to refuel and i pushed it to the max on a couple long trips too and still good gas mileage.
by the way, it tops out at about 150/155 or so but engine feel like it can go further....amazing top end.

Lead's good for ya.
Not so good for catalytic converters and 02 sensors, but 30+psi and lots of ignition advance are fun.
You can get VP racing C-12, which is 108 octane unleaded.
