First, yes I have searched the archive. I have noticed that because the s4 is a higher end auto that many people have been reluctant to work on them themselves or try new things. To my knowledge the compressor housing, exhaust housing and (I think)shafts on k04s/k03s are the same. Because of the tight area that the turbos rest without relocating them all together, the compressor housing has to remain the same. My question is has anyone tried custom compressor/exhaust wheels in the stock housings? I plan on doing a turbo upgrade but I cant justify spending $2500.00 on k04's just to get the different compressor and exhaust wheels? Maybe I have been spoiled becuase for my other turbo autos the turbos have been around $650.00 for 1, so 2 would be $1300.00 about 1/2 the price of a set of k04's. I understand that they have to be shipped from germany and they are audi parts but damn. Has anyone even considered keeping their compressor/exhaust housings and having them rebuit with k04' intake/exhaust wheels and shafts? Just seeing whats been done...Thanks

Yeah Im a noob to s4's but not turbo cars. When I saw the VERY limited turbo offerings to you guys I was like wtf, its like for some reaosn you guys have not benefited from the drop in turbo prices over the past years, or no onw has tried something different?
BTW How did you only run a 13.9 with your upgrades? The ET is not there but your mph isnt either, usually when you dont hook up perfect the mph will still represent your tune?
