Default Has anyone ever used these spring compressors? Going to be installing coilovers

Default They only fit if you take the entire assembly out of the car.

If you plan to compress the spring with the assembly still on the car, there's not enough room to use that.

Default umm... do not get a spring compressor on ebay.

if that **** breaks, its bad news. get one from sears. i think theyre either $25, or $50

Go buy the Craftsmen compressors from Sears. Fairly cheap, and are top notch

I used that one...It is heavy duty but very hard if not useless while springs are on the car.

Default if you're just installing CO's, you wont need compressors..

and second of all, those ones look like death to me, you can rent a decent set from autozone.

Default Wait a minute, how don't you need them? You need to transfer the upper portion over

to the new coilovers...
