Motor trend (Dec. issue) says it's higher than advertised
They're saying it's at least 600hp. THey have it doing the 1/4 mile in 11.5@128.8mph, vs. 11.6@126.6mph in the new Z06.
Ford GT: 0-60 in 3.4 seconds! You might have a chance
Personally, I'd take the Z06 over the GT at $68k vs. $166k.

The GT40 will ultimately be the cheaper car. What do you think a Z06 will be worth in 10 or 20 years? What do you think a GT40 will be worth in 10 or 20 years? My money is on the GT40.
Plus, I know which I would prefer to drive. :-))
