I could not believe it! I had a cardboard box graze the bumper and it took off all the paint. I am down to the black part of the bumper. Has anyone had this happen? It was a pretty hard bump, but I didn't expect this. Is the paint soft, or do you think it is a defect based on bad paint adhesion?

Thoughts?

If it just came of (i.e. no damage to bumper itself), then defect. dealer may replace it.

Going to give the dealer a shot. No scratches/ damage where the paint lifted off.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/32356/mvc-728f.jpg"></center><p>It's not a big deal. My dealer covered it under warranty. Took less than a day to repaint and at no cost to me. Hasn't been a problem since.
