Default Has anyone here ever had rust covered under corrosion warranty?
how many yrs/mileage is it covered? How did it go? was it a hassle?

Default There are very specific criteria that you have to meet in order for that coverage to work...
IIRC, if it's anything like VW's corrosion warranty, the key is that the rust has to go all the way through. I don't think they'll cover it under that specific part of the anti-corrosion warranty if the paint is bubbling.

yeah, i got bubble in the paint... so they might not cover it? :-(

Default Warranty is definitely perforation of the metal panel in order to cover. Bubbling of the paint or
simple rust scale will not be covered. It sucks, but total perforation of the metal is fairly rare with modern cars.

Default You can try, but I'm pretty sure rust has to go all the way through the metal.
What year is your car? Is it still under the factory Audi warranty?
