I just got a 45mm one. It says it needs an ignition 12v power wire (going to use the radio power wire, switcheD).
and it also needs a supply for the light. Would the be the same type of set-up? or off of one of the instrument lighting?
any ideas?

power distribution box that's under the steering column...it will be labeled with a 75, and it's in yellow...there's a lug that you can use...just loosen the nut and run a ring terminal...that way, you don't have to cut any radio wires...like that radio one you considered

I combined the 12v and the Light to one end of an inline fuse, and the other to the 75x bolt under the driver dash.
This actually matches the stock interior dash lighting better as the stock interior display is not switched to the headlights (they auto adjust to light levels).
Much easier to install, and it matches better, so really a lucky bonus as you don't have to dig around to find a headlight switched power source for the Light.
But as for EGT, you really need two. Since the EGT should be installed in the Exhaust Manifold as close to the turbo hookup as possible, you would need two gauges for our car. Unless you just want to run one.
If you tap downstream where the two downpipes connect to the cat-back, the temps will be off as far as anything worthwhile is concerned.
I'm actually going to see about getting some numbers out of the stock EGT sensors, but I haven't had time to research this yet.
If this falls through, I'll probably run 2 45mm Omori EGT gauges to the glove box (although making use of the ashtray would kick ***, but I don't think it's realistic).
Good luck, post about the results as I'm curious.
