(Disclaimer: the pics are of TED ChicagolandS4's car. My car is next.)
Here is what my $4 got me. There are about 20 colors to choose from, I went with silver.

Here is the front without tire

Here is the rear with tire

A little bit of this to protect the edges during future cleanings. Says it is good to 500F, so should be OK on the calipers.

Now with the tires:

~$40 for the paint and $4 for the stickers.
Overall <$50. IMO great improvement for the money.

I got some scrap red vinyl from a friend, laid it on top of the door sill logo, pressed it hard enough to give me a pattern to work with, and started cutting with a hobby knife. Voila. I love my door sill logos now, they were too bland before.

Mainly I did it b/c I like the red/black color contrast, and could never really see the logos. I'm thinking about doing a little craftwork and selling sets in each of our colors. Gotta find a cheap vinyl source and a good way to make more precise cuts, mine are crapola.

I think I did the driver's door first, which was kinda dumb b/c that's gonna be teh worst looking effort. So maybe I fubar'ed that teeny piece and just had to ditch it, hah.
