Default Hate to ask about headlight aiming but...

Yeah-I STFA and could confidently override levels with VAG if I had one but thats not my issue.

I swapped bulbs (OE headlamps)and assumed I reinstalled my lamps correctly as Ive done 10 other times but lamps are aimed all the way down.

Where and how do I check the autolevel motor? What else to check before I hit the mechanic? I reiterate I don't have VAG. TIA

Default I've had this happen once and I didn't touch my headlight at all. Manually adjusting the ***** on

top of the headlights did nothing either.

The final solution was to reset and recalibrate the headlight with a VAG-tool.

Follow this protocol:

Check your level sensors. One may have gone bad. You'll need Vag tho.

IIRC, the tiny ceramic bar on the bulb faces the bottom of the housing, FWIW

Default My new headlight did this for weeks. I adjusted until I was blue in the face. Turns out the bulb

was in crooked
