have a wheel scratch....bought wurth paint,,do i need wurth clear coat too?

I've heard the wurth paint is important, but is the wurth clear coat also important to get or can i just pick up some clear coat at a hardware store?

I don't see anything special about it. I think more important was the primer color.

Plasticote clear works fine. Apply several light coats.

Then lightly wetsand with 600 grit and polish with clearcoat fine polish.
