Somehow a spider has got into my headlights, and is now toast! Any ideas on how to get the blighter out of there?

I don't know about the euro headlights but on the u.s. one's you would take the headlight unit out. (if you don't know how look at the FAQ for DIY clear corners) I did the clear corner mod and I had plastic shavings EVERYWHERE inside my headlight so what I did was I had a Co2 tank available with a 1/4" bendy hose on the end that I stuck in through the hole where the high beam bulb is and took the turn signal bulb out and blew air through it. Then all the little pieces I didn't get I got out by connecting that same rubber hose to the end of my vaccum cleaner nossle and fed the tube through the bulb holes and sucked out every last piece I could reach.
But on the euro lights I don't know because the turn signal bulb looks very different. Hope this helps you

and then the bulbs you may be able to wiggle him out or maybe take a VERY small vacum and try that.
