Default Headlights "fell", seriously !!!

Hey all, last night my headlights (high and low beams, left and right) began pointing at the ground. It was bad enough that I questioned getting home. To add to the dilemma, both sides changed identically like someone jacked up the rear of the car by 8".

HELP!!!!

Default i think theres a level sensor on your front axle that determines where your lights should be aiming

it probably died.

Default If you can get someone to vag your headlight controller it may tell you why, I had broken wires.

My car did the same thing idling in the driveway, I checked the headlight controller and it reported an open circuit in the rear level sensor. I checked out the sensor visually, and found that a crack in the insulation had allowed the copper to corrode so much the wire broke.

Default I do, I do, especially when I'm having problems with her. :)

Incidently, "headlights" is a euphemism for ***** where I'm from...
