A couple friends crashed at my place last night. We got up this morning and were going to go grab brunch, so we walked down to the parking garage... and no car. My car was gone! Gone! Oh sh*t, where's my car?!? I parked it here last night and now it's gone!

Doing my best to control my rising panic, I went to the office and asked if they had towed any cars out of my garage last night. The guy called the towing company and found out that they had... and they had my car. Apparently I didn't have a parking sticker on my windshield... while parked in my assigned space. I can't wait to move in a month.

I'm going to get my car as soon as a taxi shows up. My pulse is still about 160.

It completely boggles my mind that most places here in California have inadequate parking for residents, let alone, for visitors, and everybody suffers.

I could see towing cars if people were tailgating or parking broke *** Camaros all over the place...
