HEAT SOAK~~~LOWERS BOOST?!?

my car definitely heatsoaks, and intercoolers are next on the list, but even after 20+ minutes on the track in 90+ heat, I was still pulling on E46 M3's.

how is that possible? Cooler air should be great for turbo boost, unless the car and turbo is not warmed up yet.

Once the car gets heat soaked, it goes to around .4 bar. But it only happens if after a hard drive and i stop the car for awhile and restart again, it will take anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes before the boost will come back again. If I continue on the highway and don't stop, no boost problem at all. I have a turbo timer and a boost gauge.

Can the computer lower the boost level due to high IAT?!? or heat soak from the ICs actually lowers the boost by increasing the IAT and increasing the volumn of air?
