Default how much extra work is involved for the italian air horn install?

do i need to run extra tubes and what not?

Default No extra work, the new one from Griot's is all self-contained

Default Not sure where the horns are in their stock locations, mine were relocated

I doubt they will fit in there, the ones I bought will however, and since the wiring kind of works with the stock harness, I think they're a good choice.

The air horn would probably need to go in the engine bay somewhere, maybe near the ECU box...

Default Curious, are you using factory alarm? Must be loud as hell when you activate/deactivate huh? Unless,

you disabled it using VAG

Default Not sure it was such a good idea to put the horn directl behind the intercooler ..

where it will block airflow.

Default Have you looked back there?

On the passenger side, the AC canister is RIGHT behind the IC and will certainly block more flow than a horn would.

I have my driver side horn mounted behind the IC and I highly doubt it makes an appreciable difference in IC efficiency.
