Default HELP!!!

Ok so i went out this morning to start my car to head to work. Last night when i parked the car was running fine not makeing any noise. This morning when i start the car it makes a bunch of clatter and almost sounded like a diesel. I turned the car off and popped the hood so i could try to take a look but i can't see anything right now cause it's dark. The CEL was on when the car started this morning. Well after not seeing anything tried to re-start the car and nothing, all it will do is crank. Any suggestions or ideas guys? This is not a good time or thing to happen for me so any advice would be great.

You might be doing that motor rebuild sooner rather than later.

check your spider hose and brake booster line. If those pop it makes a very rough idle

slight update, and i did check the spider hose and brake booster line, neither on that. The car still won't start. and it wasn't a rough idle, the idle, when it did, was "smooth" but the car sounded like a cummins diesel truck.

2nd update, just read the codes that were set when it ran.

first code P1338: belive code for crankshaft position sensor A circuit high input

second code P1606: belive code for pcm processor fault

third code P1392: belive code for camshaft position sensor "B" circuit low input (bank 2)

these are codes that was pulled from a simple code reader that my freind had.

I havn't been able to move the car to be able to get it in the garage to start tearing into it so no further updates yet.

Default I suggess you make a new post with this information because very few are following this thread. This

is not the type of forum that brings a thread back up to the top when there is activity. You must track the thread to have it come up.

Default Yes, Audi motors are interference motors. If your timing belt broke, you are looking at rebuilding

the heads at a minimum. Depending on how long it ran for with the broken belt, you may need to replace the pistons too (i.e., rebuild the entire motor).
