A friend of mine is looking at an R32 or two used S4s
S4s:
'02 Cactus Green Pearl/black Effect 6- speed w/ ~25k mile in immaculate condition.
OR
'01 Nogaro Blue/silver Avant 6-Speed w/ ~14k also in immaculate condition.
OR

What would you guys get, modding aside?
Why or Why not? Pros and Cons...
Thanks!

I think I'll end up with a truck though.
Its got all the original bullet points that brought me to the S4: power, AWD, sporty handling. And if its anything like the GTI, it does the latter significantly better than the S4.
The hatchback is a more usable form-factor for me, as well. I just wish the thing could tow 5000 lbs

hippies. I hate hippies. So, I guess you can blame hippies for ruining VW for me. I do think they are nice cars, I just would never own one. The R32 is too expensive for what you are getting. I'd get an Evo for that price, although it's obvious that VW put some money into the interior, unlike Mitsu.
