Help! Car wouldn't go into gear while on - believe clutch is issue (More)

Repair shop has driven the vehicle said clutch would not fully disengage, even when he got it in gear. (still cluth issue) Here is teh kicker. Now with the car off, he can only intermittently get the car in gear. Do I have a transmission issue??? Will the clutch also affect that??

Sounds like what happened to me.

Mine turned out to be a broken finger on the pressure plate. No issues with my transmission once the new clutch and pressure plate went in. Good luck!
