Default Help with the Customer Realtions dept.

I am trying to find a name or a phone number for the head of customer relations at Audi of America. I just bought a lovely 2001 A4 from my local dealer and unfortunately it has a defect in the paint that they are unwilling to repair. I've tried the Customer Relations number and have a case number, but they too were unable to help me. At this point I'd like to express my concerns to someone at the executive level, but I am getting the run around from the switchboard. Any suggestions?

I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this problem. Thanks for you help.

Default It's the OTS...errr FOM... you want

The guy you need to speak with is the AoA FOM. Used to be called the OTS. He goes around to the different dealers and resolves these issues. He or she has the authority to approve or deny warranty claims. Be nice to this person. They can take care of you or shine you on, and their word is final. Ask the dealer to get you an appointment next time he's at the dealer. Could be several weeks.

That's my understanding of the situation; but, of course, I could be wrong-

Default Re: Help with the Customer Realtions dept.

I have a small paint defect on my 2001 S4 as well and have been dealing with my salesperson. The salesperson saw the defect when I picked up the car (two smallish dull spots) and it disappeared when he applyed some Turtle Wax to the areas. The spots reappeared after I washed the car for the first time. I am bringing the car to the Service Supervisor who will determine whether it is covered by AOA warranty. If not, the dealer said he'll take care of it at their body shop.
