tried joint puller but it is just binding up and forcing the joint either right or left. Hit it from just about every direction with a rubber mallet, then a urethane mallet .. I'm afraid to use a metal hammer on the joint. or should i? also tried tapping with hammer and cold chisel where joint meets axle with rubber mallet.
yes I removed the snap ring first
I did the other axle with no issues. I dont see how something like that could seize? its smothered in grease.
help!

and gave it a few good taps from every side. It started to slide off. Then I switched to the rubber mallet to get it the rest of the way. Slid right off.
Thats odd the joint puller wasnt doing anything. I was even turning it with the impact gun.
