Default HELP! How can I eliminate check engine light permanently without VAGCOM?...>>>

have a misfire that will not go away and I don't want to see the check engine light anymore... should I remove a bulb or fuse or something? For those who think this is a bad idea I will still check my codes periodically to see if there is anything wrong.

TIA.

Default Any state that does inspections/emissions will fail you if that light does not come on when you put

the key in accessory mode.

Fix the problem. Ignoring it could potentially cause serious future damage.

LOL. Good idea. Might as well take all the sensors off the engine while you're at it.

There is also that little button on the driver side column, that turns off CEL's too!
