From a Stop sign I accelerated and almost instantly, I felt the car surge forward for about a second. The car did not die or throw a CEL, but I did notice that I could still hear the turbos spooling (sirenesque) and I lost quite a bit of power. Do I just have a boost leak? I don't hear any real loud swooshing noise, I just have no turbo "kick." Do I just pressure test by making the AWE tester and pray for the hiss.

BACKGROUND
I just bought the car 300 miles ago w/63k on the meter and the PO was pretty good with maintenance. It has the GIAC flashloader, but I have been running it stock. PO installed forged DVs and APR bipipe. It has always had the sirenesque noise (three weeks that I have owned it). I knew the car would be a pain to own, but not this quickly!

Anyone want to help out? If I were hook it up to a VAG, what should I expect for it to read.
