HELP - loud rattle at 4k rpm under acceleration (more)
I began hearing a strange metallic high frequency rattle under acceleration around 4000 rpm. The harder the acceleration, the louder the rattle. It definately sounds metallic in nature. I can't hear any rattle when revving past 4000 rpm while sitting still.
As a side note (related? maybe/maybe not), the car doesn't feel quite as fast and the turbos are whistling slightly less on throttle tip in. Is this all psychological considering my fear that something really bad is wrong with me car?

Sounds very much like a loose exhaust heat shield. I wouldn't worry too much
