Help with Misfire Detected

DTC 17772 cylinder 4, ignition circuit open.

is it as simple as replacing the ignition coil for cyl 4, or do i need to do more troubleshooting?

why would it go bad? Do they have a tendancy to go bad?

Try swapping #4 coil pack with another... see if the misfire migrates.
