First of all, your insurance company will probably make you wait a week or two to see if the car turns up somewhere. And there is a good chance that it will. Mine was found about 36 hours after it was stolen. It turned out the cost of repairing it was more than it was worth though so they paid me off and sent the car to an auction. I also had mods, which I was very doubtful i'd get anything for but they ended up paying me about 60% of what I paid for them new. I think it will turn out ok either way for you since you got a good deal on the car to begin with. Just be sure to stand firm with your insurance company. Claims like this are negotiable.
