Default Help needed with stripped bolts....

The heads of two of the bolts on the clutch stripped out when I was trying to get them out today. They are an inside hex 6mm for those who don't know. I could use a suggestion on how to get the two stripped ones out. I'm kinda stuck on this one.

In the mean time I'm just going to let the rest soak in more liquid wrench overnight and tackle them tomorrow.

Thanks

Default Don't know how tight they are - reverse drill bit could possibly work.

If you have some room to work...usually not on these cars.

Tight as stock torque specs, I have some room to work though since the trans is out.

Default Great, then I would try heating it up (if your'e not going to wreck something else)

and then use a reverse drill bit to back it out. If you don't know how or don't have one - ask a mechanic/buddy. You'll need to tap a hole in the bolt to place the bit then go at it - hopefully it comes out! Good luck man, I've had to fix many broken bolts living in this salt encrusted part of the country.

Sears has some drill bits that'll do the trick (you'll need to replace them though)
