my AWE MBox KO4 code runs fine, you must have a small mechanical problem somewhere - keep looking

That makes sense, the car runs fine and then it seems like the computer shuts it down. The increased volume of air must freak it out and then it decides to retard itself. Once the codes are cleared out it runs fine for a while.

Default True, but.....

Aren't their cars heavily modified? It would stand to reason that the issue of too much turbulence would have been addressed with custom software and custom tuning. Just a thought.

Default Definitely ditto on that. Mine wasn't there so we had to fashion a stopgap solution...

...on installation day or my car wouldn't even run.

Default Basically cut up a strip of rubber to bend into a circle and squish into place as an O-ring...

...until I could get the OEM O-ring installed.
