Help settle an arguement: Are the S4 HP2 calipers/brakes designed by Porsche?

Default Only because VAG at that time owned them. BTW, Porsche pretty
much or almost owns VAG now and bills all their development work thru them aka VAG pays the bills.

Default Why would they develop a caliper for a 90's car when they already
dropped the design almost a decade ago ? That is a bean counter brake component, nothing more or less .

i there was a rumour or someone trying to tell me mclaren designed the original 2.7t... it just doesnt sound right, and i think theyd do better than that.
