Default Yep, they did a great job on my avus wheel & I saw BBS's in there for repair too

That's all they do - wheel repair, they don't even sell new wheels. They also do custom finishing, chroming etc..

Default I don't think it's the car wash's fault, really, they can't be expected...

to realize the rims stick out past the tires (which is unusual). Parallel parking the S4 is hard as hell because you can't touch the curb with the wheel to find it or it will scratch the sh*t out of the wheel. I will get wider tires with rim protectors for the next ones, as nobody can be 100% perfect on this.

When you go to a car wash, you need to ensure they don't run it through the auto-wash track, and you need to tell them that. Then if they scratch it it's their fault. But the attendants don't always think of the peculiar facets of each car, and it's really the owners' responsibility to remind them.

That's my opinion, at least.

As an aside, once in my stupid days as a gas jockey (in Oregon, these people still exist) a guy in a "monster" truck was going to run it through the wash. The tire didn't fit in the track at all. Good thing, too, because I hadn't noticed that his truck was 2 feet taller than the wash entrance. That would have been ugly!!!
