Here's the $699 Blaupunkt 'in-dash' Bosch NAVIGATION solution . . . .
Same multiple map CD system, incorporated in a AM / FM / CD that interfaces with the factory CD changer.

The trip computer is seperate from the Nav- they just share the same . . .
display location in the factory Nav setup.
The Nav distances are calculated within Nav system, based on GPS and the installed CD map. That becomes obvious only when you travel outside of your CD map region, and can only get 'as the crow flies' distances to destinations within the installed map.
