Here's a game: I describe the exhaust, you name it.
When starting up, the exhaust has a deep, throaty sound, as if it's saying "ahem."
At idle, it has a pleasant burble - not enough to draw attention, yet enough to please its owner.
Cruising around town, it's not too noticeable - it's mellow, yet giving the driver enough feedback.
Cruising on the highway, it's whisper quiet. You think to yourself, am I still stock?
On spirited runs with the windows down, the driver has a grin from ear to year - it's melodious, yet not insulting, allowing the driver know precisely how the engine is running.
Under WOT, it sounds like a V8.
So, what exhaust have I described? This, my friends, is my dream exhaust.
